As a united coalition of government officials and business leaders, and as citizens of the Great
State of Utah, we pledge our support for your ongoing efforts to wrest our state lands from
Federal control. Indeed, we believe that there exists no realistic and feasible pathway to fiscal
sustainability without our ability to utilize these lands for the purposes originally conceived
when Utah entered the Union.
